"Liverpool have made a lot of changes this year, especially in midfield. That is an important position and has been key to playing in recent years," Diogo Jota explained.

The team must continue to develop and we believe Jurgen Klopp can do that, he added.

Now Liverpool have new midfielders like Alexis McAllister, Wataru Endo and Dominic Szobozlay. If the trio still need time to adapt, it looks like Liverpool fans will have to be patient first.

"It's also about our mentality. At least we started everything well in the beginning and we have to keep answering challenges," explained Jota.

"The players who left are important players. Now we have to adapt quickly," he continued.

Liverpool are currently fourth in the Premier League with 17 points. The result is five wins, two draws and one loss.

The Reds are just 3 points behind Tottenham at the top of the table. The contest is still wide open!
