JAKARTA (Antara) - Portugal's national team scored a goal against Bosnia-Herzegovina as Austria's national team confirmed their qualification for the Euro 2024 finals on Tuesday morning.

In the Euro 2024 Group J qualifying match at the Bilino Polje Stadium in Zenica, Portugal managed to score 5 goals against Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Roberto Martínez's team, who proved themselves to be successful last week, played freely and controlled the game with 66 percent ball control and 6 shots on target.

Portugal's five goals in this game were scored in the first half by Cristiano Ronaldo (2), Bruno Fernandes, Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix.

In Group J, Portugal is first with 24 points from eight games, while Bosnia is fifth with nine points.

On the other hand, Austria beat Azerbaijan 1-0 at the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium in Baku to reach the 8th place in the Euro 2024 finals.

Austria won against Azerbaijan thanks to Marcel Sabitzer's only goal in the second half.

Austria is now second in Group F with 16 points from seven games, while Azerbaijan is fourth with four points from six games.
