Managing a Premier League club is no easy task. Premier League clubs do not hesitate to sack managers if they fail to meet expectations.

Premier League clubs hire experienced coaches. However, not a few dare to gamble with the young tacticians.

There are many young coaches in the 2023/2024 Premier League. They are not afraid to compete with experienced coaches like Josep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp and Erik ten Haag.

Mikel Arteta was appointed Arsenal manager in December 2019. Despite his lack of tactical experience, the Gunners entrusted Arteta to replace the sacked Unai Emery.

Arsenal's decision to appoint Arteta was not a mistake. The 41-year-old almost helped the Gunners to the Premier League title last season, picking up three trophies.

Arteta made 187 appearances in all competitions during his time as Arsenal manager. 111 wins, 29 draws and 47 losses.

4. Anthony Iraola

Andoni Iraolia is a newcomer to the Premier League. Iraola, 41, was appointed as Bournemouth's new manager on 19 June 2023.

This Spanish coach came to replace Gary O'Neill. He previously successfully guided Rayo Vallecano to 11th place in the final LaLiga table for 2022/2023.

So far, Iraola's performances in the Premier League with the Cherries this season have not looked impressive. They managed to win only one, three draws and three defeats.

Rob Edwards began coaching Luton Town in November 2022. In his first season, he helped the team earn promotion tickets to the Premier League.

Unfortunately, Edwards has still struggled to compete in the Premier League this season. The 40-year-old manager is yet to win at Luton Town.

From five Premier League games, Luton Town have one draw and four defeats. The Hatters are currently 18th in the Premier League table.

Gary O'Neill has been announced as the new manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers at the start of the 2023/2024 season. The 40-year-old replaces Julen Lopetegui, who has opted to step down.

O'Neill has previously saved Bournemouth from relegation. However, Wolves now face a tough challenge after losing several of their best players.

At the age of 40, O'Neill managed just one win, four draws and four defeats in the Premier League with Wolves. As a result, they are now in 16th place.

Vincent Kompany is the youngest manager to manage a Premier League club in 2023/2024. The Belgian tactician is now 37 years old.

Kompany is believed to be Burnley's manager at the start of the 2022/2023 season. He performed well with The Clarets and succeeded in bringing his team to the Premier League.

Kompany's progress in the Premier League so far has not been great. The team has collected one point from five matches and is ranked 19th.
